Madeleine, a paranoid, nosy but caring mother. 36 years old Works as an actress, starred in a popular american television series for teenagers when she was nineteen years old, where she met her husband. Since she has had moderate success, playing supporting roles in two feature films, and starring in many pieces of theater. She is self-conscious of her appearance and is adamant she will keep having plastic surgery so that she will stay looking young. She therefore spends a large proportion of her spare time at the gym training to maintain her "young body".  She loves and is still infatuated with her husband Leo, after almost seventeen years of marriage. She is most concerned about how he views her and it is vital to her to always look her best around him to impress him. She has deep inner concern, you may call paranoia, that the ageing process will lead to a subtraction of her beauty, and accordingly her husbands sexual attraction for her. Behind Locked Doors - Treatment

Behind Locked Doors takes a trip inside domestic life through a unique perspective. It highlights theme; that wealth does not necessarily bring happiness. Scene one will begin the story with a greeting from the narrator directly addressing the audience and introducing them to himself, and to the luxury apartments. We will later discover, the lives of the inhabitants are not all particularly filled with love and happiness but at this point it appears that the life of anyone wealthy and lucky enough to be living here, would be flawless.  It will be made clear that the narrator has an omniscient perspective of the residents' domestic lives, but his identity will be anonymous as yet. This will set up a mysterious and intriguing atmosphere. Scene two will show the narrator then taking the spectator to the kitchen of the first apartment that belongs to a family, where he will firstly give an introduction to each character and explain how Madeleine and Leo, husband and wife, inhabited...
